Rabies is a disease caused by a virus that is nearly always fatal. The virus affects the brain of animals, leading to unusual and often aggressive behavior.  The rabies virus is present in the saliva of the infected animal and is spread to humans and other animals when saliva gets into the body through a bite or scratch. A rabies vaccine is one of the core vaccines for your pet and is required by law.

Distemper in dogs is a viral infection which attacks their respiratory, gastrointestinal, and neurological systems. Infection usually occurs from meeting an infected animal or through shared spaces such as boarding kennels. Distemper is also found in wildlife and can be spread through feces and direct contact.

Leptospirosis is a bacterial infection that can cause kidney and liver damage and in some be fatal to your pet. 

Bordetella, also known as Kennel Cough, is a highly contagious respiratory infection that can lead to bronchitis, and pneumonia. It’s spread most easily like the common cold in grade school children. However, if not recognized and treated, can be fatal.

Canine Flu is a respiratory infection, like the human common cold, that can be easily spread from coughing and or sneezing. Like the kennel cough, if not treated, can be fatal.
